Notice of Engagement
Silvertip Gondola
The Government of Alberta, through the All-Season Resorts Branch, is considering whether lands associated with the Silvertip Gondola proposal should be designated as an all-season resort area under the All-Season Resorts Act (ASRA).
To gather input on the proposed land use designations, the Government of Alberta is undertaking public engagement and Indigenous consultation.
As a part of the Silvertip Resort Village located in Canmore, Alberta, Stone Creek Resorts has proposed the development of a gondola and associated visitor amenities. The proposal includes a transit hub, gondola, day lodge, trail networks, viewing platforms, a suspension bridge, and related utility infrastructure.
Stone Creek Resorts is undertaking public engagement and Indigenous consultation to share information and gather input on their Silvertip Gondola proposal.
Stone Creek Resorts will share information about the proposed project at the upcoming open house, and the Government of Alberta will share information and collect feedback on the potential designation of the all-season resort area.
